High-performance panels

Sandwich panels are a central part of our roof and wall program and include an almost complete range of solutions for efficient and sustainable construction. 

Our offer includes both 'Rock' stone wool panels and foamed PIR panels incorporating the latest iQ + system technology. Promirock N© is a new range of sandwich panels with a mineral wool core produced in Sweden, specially adapted for the Nordic climate.

Promirock has been developed to meet the market's need for simple, aesthetic and energy-efficient building materials. The product has great adaptability, both to create aesthetic expressions and achieve technical properties.

Promirock N© - Performance

Using sandwich panels provides a rational construction process and a tight building can be quickly put in place. The insulating core of mineral wool has a number of climatic advantages but above all it gives the panel very good resistance to fire.

With a panel width of 1200mm, installation is time-efficient given that large areas can be covered and the risk of thermal bridges is minimized.

The factory-fitted seals and spontaneous joints between the panels optimise the air and water tightness of the panels for maximum comfort and performance. Promirock N©  is offered in standard densities, 85kg/m2 and 125kg/m2 , for all thicknesses. The choice helps the designer to select the right panel for applications with varying performance requirements in terms of mechanical and thermal properties and fire.

Promirock N© is very well suited for different types of facilities, whether it is simple industrial halls, warehouses or business centers. With the choice of technical performance and aesthetic expression, there are very large possibilities for variation for the client.

The steel layer of the sandwich panel has the latest coating technology, ensuring both a long technical and aesthetic lifespan even in particularly exposed environments. The development of functional coatings and corrosion protection is constantly changing, where ArcelorMittal Building Solutions occupies a special position through our own works and innovations.

In addition to a large program of different colors and surface properties, there is also the possibility of varying the surface geometry with 6 different grooves and profiles, 4 of which are also available on the inside.

Sustainability

ArcelorMittal Building Solutions is continuously working to improve our environmental performance, both in product and process. Steel has many good properties but above all it can be recycled into the production process without major limitations, over and over again. The steel used in our panels contains up to 20% recycled material.

Developments in the area are happening very quickly, which is why we have gathered our various projects, with a focus on CO2 reduction, under the Xcarb® brand with the goal of being CO2 neutral by 2050. However, products with a significantly lower CO2 footprint will be on the market as early as 2023. In summary, there is complete environmental documentation for the Promirock N product group, including environmental assessments and EPDs.

Promirock  N© is a technically advanced, in-house produced panel with an insulated core of mineral wool and two organically coated steel surfaces. Offered in two versions available with densities of 85 and 125 kg/m3 and nominal thicknesses between 100 and 300 mm (see Thicknesses ). For each density choice, the option of 0.5 mm or 0.63 mm steel cladding is offered , which can be combined on the inside and outside (see Profiles ).
